Trawling around on the internet looking for some places I used to know I came across class photos from a school I attended in the late 1950's.
Here's the class photo. Not telling which one is me – not yet anyway! Guesses welcome.

What a lovely photo. I am reluctant to state my guess as to which one is you, just in case I select the all-in wrestler or the aggressive atheist by mistake. However, I am fairly confident you are not one of the ones in a skirt!!
Seeing photos like this often makes me wonder when things changed so drastically in schools – it could almost be a photo of my late 60’s early 70’s primary classes – so that everyone wore uniform and something of the innocence was lost along the way.

I like to think you’re the one in the back row refusing to face the front. But I rather suspect you’re three rows back, second from the right.

Jim, that is not easy, several of the boys look like they could be a younger version of you … i’ll have to wait until you reveal all …

If I remember correctly from ‘This is your life’ (1994 – CTBC) my guess would be front left.

You’re very right Mike! The look of nonchalant impatience was one of my more effective ways of annoying a succession of teachers!
