A Haiku New Testament Introduction.

Bar9-pic
After a long delay due both to my oversight then the inability of Typepad to cope with pasted content – (now in the improved version much easier), I can publish one of the shortest (if not the shortest) NT Introduction available to hard pressed students. Thanks to all those who contributed now months ago. I'll be soliciting contributions to the OT version soon.

Wow,it looks great altogether. I’m not sure that I submitted the Titus Haiku -epimenides sounds too academic and Greek for me. Maybe it was Andy or Jason?
I look forward to the OT challenge.

    Hi Jim,
Love the Haikus, focuses the mind and gives carefully chosen words an extra weight and dimension – dare I say not unlike CS Lewis’s writing style.
One of the trickier tasks a minister has to manage is dealing with disruptive people – in services, meetings, house groups, bible studies etc. etc. I remember a few occasions where you had to intervene. One memory stands out relating to a bible study on Revelation where a chap, who was new to the church, had attached himself to a bible study group claimed that Revelation was penned in early medieval times. To commemorate that event here is my alternative Haiku contribution
    Revelation Haiku:-
    the imagery
    clearly Gothic in its style
    disturbs church house groups
    Happy days !!!
