No one tradition, no one perspective, no one theological construal, no one telling of the Gospel story, can hope to reduce to canvas or syntax, the reality of the one in whom all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.

I found this print on the contents page of The Image of Christ, by Neil Mcgregor, the catalogue of the exhibition, Seeing Salvation.
He attributes it to Theofore Galle (1571-1633)Flemish engraver. I haven’t had time to look for much more info, but like you find it fascinating.
